Redneck Carnival

The guys have been burning brush piles all winter. Every day it’s been knocking over “crap” trees and leaving “the gooders” — walnuts, white oaks, and anything cool and twisted and gnarled. This section of the farm is for cow grazing, so the main goal of the landscape is to serve as a grass farm. Anyway, it’s ugly and brown right now, so picture opportunities are sparse. Unless we get visitors.
My favorite eight-year-old went for a ride in the excavator bucket. Kids visits to the farm are just… the best.
Here’s Jon’s excavator.
Jon makes for a handsome carny…
One of my favorites!
Adorable little filth monster.
